About Apologia Report
Apologia Report, a weekly online research journal, summarizes and reviews hundreds of magazines, journals, and news publications to identify the most valuable resources to aid Christians as they encounter competing truth claims and seek to wisely respond. Apologia Report places summaries, annotated bibliography, and source information in the hands of Christian leaders worldwide to enhance the impact of their ministries.
Who Is Served?
Christian educators influential at the graduate and undergraduate level will find the discovery of Apologia Report a delightful relief. These professionals have been increasingly overwhelmed by the growth of information sources in our generation. Information overload is much more pronounced for them due to the academic nature of their profession.
Apologetics ministries exist by the hundreds with an emphasis on reaching the lost within particular cults. Apologia Report will be invaluable to these small and often understaffed ministries faced with the daunting task of staying current on developments within their area of specialization.
Pastor-teachers with an emphasis on evangelism and discipleship will learn of hard-to-find resources for use with people whose lives or loved ones have been touched by cultic teachings. These pastors will also learn of up-to-date books and articles in Apologia Report for use in the protection of their flock from the constantly changing winds of doctrine which blow through their churches year after year.
Distinctives
Apologia Report is valued for its:
A. Specific focus on apologetics. No other periodical summarizing available resources for busy Christian professionals and serious students deals exclusively with apologetics.
B. Quantity of material covered. With access to over 600 periodicals and years of Internet exploration, Apologia Report draws on two or three times the source material of any other similar publication.
C. Interactive forum. Apologia Report provides a free online discussion area with other specialists in the field of apologetics for problem solving on related issues over the Internet.
D. User-friendly source documentation. Apologia Report always lists the easiest and fastest means of contacting publishers for each article it summarizes. Apologia Report consistently lists phone numbers and/or Internet addresses for each source credit it provides.
E. Diversity of topics covered. Readers of Apologia Report can expect to be exposed to a wider range of apologetic issues, resources, and news than in any other Christian periodical.
F. Inclusion of online information. Besides a focus on available literature, Apologia Report directs its subscribers to the best online resources in apologetics using their own computer.
G. Experience. Apologia Report draws from a decade of Rich Poll's experience in managing and reporting on the research resources of one of the largest apologetics ministries in the world.
I. Online subscription delivery. No other similar periodical offers its subscribers the option of quickly receiving its content electronically over the Internet virtually the moment it becomes available to the public.

How To Subscribe
We offer two options:
We ask that you include your postal address and phone number with your Internet e-mail address when ordering. This allows us to reach you in the event of technical conflicts that occasionally prevent us from establishing initial e-mail contact with first-time subscribers. For faxed subscription orders please allow up to two weeks (regular mail orders, add one week) for your first issue to arrive. In most cases the subscription shall begin within a day or two of receiving your order.
Please remember that any instability with your e-mail address or e-mail account can influence your subscription. On some host systems, if you do not check your mail often enough your mailbox fills up. When that happens, or if you change online providers without notifying us, the host rejects incoming messages to your account. The host also bounces the message to Apologia with a "mailbox full" or some other error message. As a result, then OUR mailbox begins to swamp. Consequently, we must occasionally remove problem addresses from our mailing list. If this happens, please contact us about the problem and we will re-enter the e-mail address you specify. If the problems continue with a multiple of occurrences, Apologia reserves the right to discontinue service. It is not possible for Apologia to maintain service to unstable e-mail addresses or accounts.
The best way to avoid these problems is to keep Apologia current with your e-mail address changes. Allow up to two weeks for e-address changes to be implemented by Apologia once we have received them. In most cases the correction shall be made by us within a day or two.
Back Issue Availability Status
Currently, back issues of Apologia Report are not
available. Plans are being considered for a variety of publishing options
including CD-ROM and password-access World Wide Web database formats. We
are shopping for vendors. The presentation of the content is expected to
be similar to the freetext
database named CRI TEXT that Rich Poll created for CRI. If you have
vendor experience in similar areas Apologia would like to hear from you.
Future news of any change in back issue availability will be announced in
Apologia Report.
